Where Are We?

Forrestdale Primary School is tucked away on Broome Street behind Armadale Road.  Surrounded by native bushland and small rural holdings, we are fortunate to enjoy a peaceful and attractive learning environment.

We are within walking distance of Forrestdale Lake Nature Reserve and draw on this important conservation area to enhance our curriculum, which includes field trips to the lake.  Read about one of our memorable excursions in our July newsletter.

Due to our location, we enjoy visits from various reptiles, marsupials and birdlife during the year.  Students encourage their presence at the school by making bird baths and nesting boxes.  Local bee and butterfly populations are attracted to the gardens which students have helped to plant.
