An Independent Public School

Truth - Pride - Friendship

Forrestdale Primary School is proud to be an Independent Public School.

Forrestdale Primary School is tucked away on Broome Street behind Armadale Road.  Surrounded by native bushland and small rural holdings, we are fortunate to enjoy a peaceful and attractive learning environment.

We are within walking distance of Forrestdale Lake Nature Reserve and draw on this important conservation area to enhance our curriculum, which includes field trips to the lake.

Due to our location, we enjoy visits from local wildlife such as kangaroos, bandicoots and bird life during the year. Students encourage their presence at the school by making bird baths and nesting boxes. Local bee and butterfly populations are attracted to the gardens which students have helped to plant.

As an Independent Public School we work in collaboration and partnership with our families and the wider school community to develop the vision and direction for our school’s future.
