Our Forrestdale Primary School Board works with the school community to oversee that performance indicators within this Business Plan are met, ensuring good school governance. This means that school resources will be used efficiently, community expectations are respected, and the school’s priorities reflect the needs of students so students can achieve their best outcomes.

Our P&C
Forrestdale Primary's P & C is a diligent and zealous group that allows parents and community members to take part in some of the decision-making processes concerning our school.
Their main objective is to support the school community proactively while prioritising the best interests of our children and being responsive to them.

The Fathering Project
Forrestdale Primary School are proud to partner with the Fathering Project initiative
Events are held once per term and we love to see as many dads, grandads, and father figures as possible, attending alongside students. Details of each event, including RSVP information, are shared each term.
Research consistently shows schools with strong father involvement programs see a dramatic improvement in student well-being and academic achievement. When fathers participate in school activities, meetings and events, children enjoy school more, are less likely to have behaviour issues and are more likely to participate in extracurricular activities. Children are also more likely to engage more in school and perform better academically.
